So Darkness was his only Friend!
On the 15 January 2022, a massive volcanic eruption occurred under the almost uninhabited volcanic archipelago island of Tonga in the remote South Pacific Ocean. On the opposite side of the world, one hundred years earlier, an army of construction engineers toiled around the clock in a deep and hazardous inland lagoon along the icy and desolate Black Sea Coastline.
Romain Lennox, the young engineer and brain-child of the project, rated then as a world first, was on the actual construction site coordinating the intricate architectural structure of his submerged railroad station and unbeknown to Romain the power of the Tonga eruption had shifted the axis of the earth, although only a minuscule amount, never-the-less causing the underwater railroad project to collapse. Romain Lennox, the chief engineer and brain-child of the project, was killed that night 100 years ago… it killed him that night… but he did not die!
From that time onwards, there was no daylight. A cloak of darkness covered the entire world. There was no daylight any longer for Romain Lennox… so darkness was his only friend!
