Has Brexit changed the political culture in the United Kingdom and how does it affect the shape of the European Union? And which prospects are there for future relations between UK and EU? These are the questions discussed during the 17th Walter Hallstein Symposium hosted by the Wilhelm Merton Centre for European Integration at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main on March 15 and 16, 2018. The present volume presents most of the contributions to this conference. The papers have been updated until November, partly until December 2018.
