Omschrijving

Enlil, the oldest vampire and head of the Council, is left weak and recovering from his last battle which could not have come at a worse time.

Many centuries ago he intervened when Ahuitzotl, the leader of the Aztec's, cast a spell for more power turning him into an abomination. Though Enlil and the Council were able to kill him, it was not before the curse he unleashed jumped to his daughter. A daughter who, when she reaches her twenty first birthday, will turn into the monster... unless they can find a way to stop Ahuitzotl once and for all.

Neca oblivious of any danger just wants to fit in at her new college. Ciara, Adan, Darren and Bo wish for just one thing: a fifth member for their club so they can cast a spell to turn them into the superheroes of the graphic novels they so love to read. When Neca joins the merry band of misfits, they convince her to do the spell, leaving them with much more than they had bargained for. At first excited to wake up with extraordinary powers, things soon get out of control. When infighting starts and lives are lost, they must find a way out.

As the Council and other supernatural species converge to stop the curse, they soon realise there is a traitor in their midst. Will they find out who it is in time, before more people die? Or will they be too late? When disaster strikes, there is only one solution: they must all put their differences aside or face dire consequences.
