He has been called "the male Kate Bush" by one-time label mate Robyn Hitchcock and "the godfather of Steampunk". He has a cult following in Europe where he has toured many times both with his band and as a solo performer. 'Bitter and Twisted Tales' is his first collection of short crime fiction.
