But I began asking myself: If God is the Creator of the universe, the one who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), why would He want His children to struggle in poverty?

I know, I know, some of you are thinking: "But Jesus said it is harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle." Yes, that's true. And it's a powerful reminder of the dangers of allowing wealth to become an idol. But here's the thing: the challenge isn't wealth itself—it's the love of money. Jesus was warning against greed, not the accumulation of resources for the good of the kingdom.
