In defeating a long-game conspiracy to take over Corporatia, Yoelin was compelled to leave a loose end. Now she finds that the conspiracy is not only still active, but is vaster than she had imagined-and the conspirators want their revenge!
A strange communication from an unidentified source that requests a Rescue leads Yoelin into a trap, where she encounters a nemesis from her past as a Special Security Operative.
