Ever gone to church thinking you were in a safe place, only to find out that the pastor was having an affair with the choir director's wife? Remember when all those priests molested those young boys, some who were altar boys in the church? Do you know that Hitler professed to be a Christian? Ever been conned into giving money to the church, only to be left penniless and alone? Go with Joanna on her own spiritual journey, battling the dictators in her life and finding some of the keys to emotional healing. See how total surrender to a just and loving God can expose the errors in your thinking and bring you to an understanding of truth. What is truth? Pontius Pilate asked Jesus this question. Would you like to know the answer? Joanna was born in Connecticut. Married in 1977, she moved to Rhode Island. In 1979 she began attending Al-anon meetings which changed the course of her life. The next seven years took her on an incredible journey of spiritual, mental, and emotional healing. Divorced with three small sons, she headed to Tulsa OK in 1986 to attend Oral Roberts University. Although people in Tulsa had many valid spiritual experiences, they were very often emotionally bankrupt. AA and Al-anon were not promoted. Joanna's years in recovery in Rhode Island, prepared her for the frustration she found in Tulsa attempting to walk out her calling. She was ordained through Ministers for Christ Assembly of Churches and spent eight years ministering with the homeless. She has recorded two albums: "The Dance" and "Heed My Call". She lives in Sand Springs Oklahoma with her new husband and teen-age son. Graduated from college, her other boys are grown and married and live in Fort Worth Texas.
