An Everlasting Bond: The Story of a Father and His Son also focuses on the emotional repercussions of Rolando's drug addiction and what his father, as an experienced mental health professional, feels leads to his son's drug addiction. The impact on the emotional, financial, and family resources, which this deplorable and devastating disease generates are discussed in detail.
