Au coeur de cette histoire apparaît Amondo, fils du baobab, dit « le rassembleur ». Lui seul peut redonner espoir aux habitants du village en libérant la source d'eau du mauvais sort que lui avait jeté le soleil. Mais la quête de l'enfant ne pourra être complétée qu'en réussissant quatre difficiles épreuves. Cette pièce de théâtre, suivie de sept chansons, nous plonge dans le merveilleux monde des récits originels africains, à une époque où la lune, les arbres et les animaux parlaient aux hommes. A very long time ago, at the beginning of the world, the gigantic tree had fallen in love with the earth. With its deep roots, it gave birth to a magical story that unfortunately took a dramatic turn for the worst. At the heart of this tale appears Amondo, son of the baobab, known as "the unifier." Only he can give hope to the inhabitants of the village by freeing the water source from the bad fate that the sun had cast on his people. But the child's quest can only be completed by taking on four difficult tasks. The accompanying recorded story in French is presented as a play followed by seven songs.
