When he gets a job investigating somebody on the Greek island of Corfu he thinks it's going to be a cushy number. But it's a lot more dangerous and important than he thought, as dark forces plot to threaten normal life. Nobody can be trusted. I downloaded to my Kindle, the new novel by our own Agios Stefanos regular and Author "Jim Hawkins" it's called "Almond and the deep blue sea" ... I thoroughly enjoyed this Detective Thriller and as it's set here in Agios Stefanos it felt like an added bonus and very familiar. Couldn't put it down so I have to recommend it as a really good read... nice twist to the ending... Well worth a try - 5* (Tony Cox on Facebook) Finished reading the book in San Stefanos last week Jim. Something a little different to what I would normally read and I loved it. Made even better by being able to visualise so many of the locations. Waiting for the next one now. He adapted the Caribbean novel The Orchid House for Channel 4, and has published many science fiction novellas, most of which have been re-published in anthologies, and Amazon.
