Mike Randolph, Rand, has been drowning his sorrows over a mess he created in a security assignment three months ago and is mourning the loss of a friend. The drinking didn't get rid of his guilt and he decides it's time to face his actions head on. He finds someone has broken into his mobile home and is still there needing protection.

Zoe Massner is a bookkeeper and computer whiz who finds out the man she's been doing the books for is running guns down the West Coast. She get's the proof on a thumb drive and now the dealer is after her. Wanting to get the information to the A.T.F, she is now on the run from that man. Zoe breaks into a mobile home with her credit card, and meets Rand who offers help, but she doesn't know who to trust.
