George Lockwood is a qualified English and maths tutor delivering Functional Skills at various Further Education Colleges in conjunction with Apprenticeships. In the 1970s and 1980s, George worked in the City of London in international and corporate banking for over twenty years. A fluent linguist in four languages, including Italian, he was seconded to an Italian bank in Milan for a while in the late 1970s where he amassed a treasure box full of local knowledge and information from people who lived through the darkest days of Italy's Second World War experience.
